Wind and Sky
This kinetic sculpture was shaded strongly light and dark against a deep blue sky. I found it in a sculpture garden near my office in the southern part of the Denver metro area.

The Oregon Coast
Hilary stopped us here south of Astoria, along the coast highway in northern Oregon. Despite the rough morning I had getting there, the view along the coast was worth it all.

Tarryall Creek Valley
I rode along CR-77 between US Highway 285 to the north and US Highway 24 to the south. It's a quiet mountain road, falling apart, but filled with incredible views. Well worth a visit.

Blue Mesa Reservoir
On my way to Silverton by motorcycle, I ran into an unexpectedly huge lake in the middle of Colorado. After riding past miles and miles of water, I stopped to rest a bit and take in the view.
